It was established during the Fatimid period in 412 Hijri\\ 1021 AD. It has stairs of 19 stone steps, and its height reaches between 6.5 and 7 meters.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">Between this arcature and the southern arcature in the yards of the Dome of the Rock, there is a sculpture inside the stone wall, which has the shape of a platform and has the same height of the low wall. It is thought that it was made this way as an indicator for the direction of Qibla. It was most probably established during the Ottoman period when the yard of the Dome of the Rock was paved.
